LPSC has an opportunity to attend the dinner theater at the Circle Bar B on Sunday, Oct 7. There are already 20 paid reservations and we think we can get a few more spots if needed. If you are planning to attend, you need to contact Maggie this week and send her a check. Cost is $35/person.

The next General Meeting will be 5:30 pm on Friday, August 3th at Ebell Park, 7th and Main Street, Santa Paula, CA. We will be going to see the car show and to have a BBQ and picnic. The club will provide burgers and chicken. An attempt to reserve tables will be made at 4:30pm. A club banner may be setup to make finding the table easier.
Bring your own chair, a side dish to share, and your own drinks. We will be in a public park, so discretion is encouraged for alcoholic beverages. For those beverages, bring things like can covers and generic cups.
Happy Hour is this Friday, July 13, at 5:30 at Andre’s Wine Bar in the beautiful Ventura Harbor Village. Andre’s is located right next to Coastal Cone. They have fine wines and beer at happy hour prices and appetizers.
For those who wish to dine after, there are many wonderful restaurants right there, including Margaritaville (Mexican), Milanos (Italian) and The Greek. We can choose a place for dinner, and for those who still want to hang out, there is live music at Andre’s starting at 8pm.

The Los Padres Ski Club general meeting is Thursday, July 5th, 6:30pm at the Pierpont Bay Yacht Club, 1363 Spinnaker Drive Ventura, CA. We will be having our usual BBQ of burgers and chicken. Please bring a side dish to share.
We will be discussing happy hours and a trip to the Circle Bar B dinner theater.
