General Meeting and Chili Cook-off, October 6

Please join us for our General Meeting on Thursday, October 6, 6:30pm, at the PBYC clubhouse, 1363 Spinnaker Dr., Ventura Harbor.

Instead of a BBQ, each person is invited and encouraged to enter the LPSC Great Chili Cook-off and bring a pot of your special chili for folks to sample. First Prize is $25 and Second Prize is $10. The club will provide little cups and spoons for tasting of each entrant’s chili. The club will also provide some chili so no-one goes hungry. Whether you bring chili or not, please bring a side dish or dessert to share!

So start researching recipes and thinking of a descriptive name for your chili, and be ready to start cookin’ next week!

We have some exciting fall events coming up that we will discuss, including a trip to the Getty Museum, arranged by Carol A., and our upcoming Fall Party.

We hope to see you there!
