LPSC Mammoth Trip Flyer, Feb 28 – March 5, 2023

We are planning our major LPSC ski trip to Mammoth for February 28th – March 5th, 2023.   We’ll be staying at the Alpenhof Lodge located 6080 Minaret Rd, Mammoth Lakes, CA . Besides cabins and hotel rooms, the Alpenhof Lodge also has its own bar and restaurant. It is at a fantastic location across the street from the village.

Costs are:

  • Double or triple occupancy 5 nights    $460.00
  • Double or triple occupancy 3 nights    $370.00
  • Single occupancy cottage (by request), 5 nights        $810.00
  • Single occupancy Queen or double double room (by request), 5 nights    $980.00

The Village is Mammoth’s premier event destination, presenting a diverse lineup of live music and entertainment year-round – including festivals, wine walks, live music, DJs, and parades. The Village also boasts myriad food and beverage establishments, retailers, and more! Dining options include:

As the Alpenhof Lodge is across the street from The Village, it is an easy walk to the gondola to the Canyon Lodge. We are also close to the bus stop to the Main Lodge, too. There are also other bus stops to take you around town to do shopping, sightseeing, and other fun!

We have reserved 2 cabins that have living rooms and kitchens where we all can gather for socializing and group meals. We have also reserved a number of hotel rooms that have refrigerators.

Cost will be more this year, but the quality of the lodging is better and the location is awesome!

Queen Single Room

Most Queen Rooms are located on the third floor (stair access only). They are approximately 250 square feet and feature a new Queen bed and linens, a flat-screen TV, iron and ironing board, refrigerator, and ski/snowboard racks. The bathroom features granite countertops.

Double -Double Room

All Double/Double Rooms are located on the second floor (stair access only). They are approximately 280 square feet, and feature two new Double beds and linens, a flat-screen TV, iron and ironing board, refrigerator, and ski/snowboard racks. The bathroom features granite countertops.

2 Room Cabin with Kitchen

Two Bedroom Cabins are our largest accommodations at approximately 525 square feet. They are ground floor duplexes and feature a new Queen bed in one room and two new twin beds in the second room, a living room with gas fireplace, and a full kitchen. Other amenities include a flat-screen TV, iron and ironing board, refrigerator, and ski/snowboard racks. The bathroom features granite countertops.

Cozy, rustic and warm, Petra’s is ideal for everything from family and group dinners to a date night for two. Enjoy fresh, seasonal cuisine accompanied by friendly service and Mammoth’s most progressive wine program – featuring over 30 wines by the glass and handcrafted cocktails.

THE CLOCKTOWER CELLAR

Whether you’re a whiskey connoisseur, a casual sipper or are just looking for a place to kick back and enjoy sports on the flat screens, shoot a little pool and play some foosball, any time is the right time to drop by Mammoth Lakes’ best multi-tap beer and whiskey bar.

Far West Annual Ski and Snowboard Week, Jackson Hole, WY January 21 – 28 2023

Other club members and I have taken these trips and they are awesome!  Please note that the price listed doesn’t include airfare or lift tickets.  Please that the Basic IKON pass doesn’t work at Jackson Hole; one will need the will need to purchase the IKON Bass Plus pass. FWSA will be offering air and ground transportation at a competitive rate at a later date.  Signup deposit is due June 20th, and these trips do fill up fast!
