Carpinteria Seal Hike, March 18th, 10:30am

Please join us for a leisurely walk to the Harbor Seal Rookery in Carpinteria at 10:30am, March 18th.  We will be meeting at the  Bluffs Parking lot, which is at the Bailard Avenue exit off the 101 on the oceanside (west) side of the 101. Tall Ships/Wandering Musician Walk – Sunday February 18th

On February 18, 10:30am, we will be meeting at the Ventura Harbor Fisherman’s Memorial for a walk to view the tall ships, listen to the wandering musicians, and have lunch.  The Fisherman’s Memorial is an Arch located on the walkway by the docks between Andria’s Seafood and Brophy Bros. Seafood.  Look for Jessie and Stephanie G.

Christmas Caroling Cruise, Ventura Harbor, Sunday, Dec 17th

Join us for a fun Caroling Cruise of the Ventura Harbor and Keys on Sunday, December 17, 6:00pm – 7:30pm.  We will view the decorated homes and boats while singing our favorite Holiday carols with the crew.

Each person needs to make their own reservation by November 30th at http://islandpackers.com/ or by calling Island Packers at 805-642-1393.  Tell them you are part of the LPSC group.  Also contact Stephanie Brasacchio to let her know you are attending

Cost is  $16, $13 (Seniors), $10(children under 12).

The boat has a snack bar selling food and refreshment.

Prior to the cruise, If you want to lubricate your vocal chords prior to the cruise, join us at about 4:30 for a Happy Hour drink at the 805 Bar and Grilled Cheese at 1575 Spinnaker, Ventura Harbor

Garment District Bus Trip

Please join us on a bus trip to the Los Angeles Garment District on Monday, November 13, 2017, 8am to 4pm.  Cost is $35/person and includes the bus driver’s tip.

The bus leaves from the Oxnard Adult Education parking lot at 2110 West 2nd street, Oxnard.  The bus drops you off in front of the the world famous Michael Levine, Inc., store at 920 Maple
Avenue in Los Angeles http://www.lowpricefabric.com/.  Besides shopping there and at other fabric stores nearby for low cost fabrics and notions, you can also visit the Flower district for fresh flowers and live plants and Santee Alley, a famed flea market features a range of vendors selling clothing, handbags, accessories & street fare.

ALS Walk, Sunday October 29th 1000 am, Plaza Park, Ventura

Please join us at the ALS Walk, Sunday, October 29th, 10:00 am, at Plaza Park, downtown Ventura.  One of our club members, Chris “Ski” Chergoski is a long time survivor of ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease. This walk will raise money to support the ALS Association’s mission to end Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis.  Please wear a Hawaiian shirt to match the rest of the “Ski” team.
