We have a great TGIT Happy Hour planned for Settebello Pizzeria Napoletana located in The Collection at Riverpark, 2760 Seaglass Way, Oxnard, CA 93036. Plenty of parking in the structure behind the restaurant. Afterwards, we can enjoy a concert starting at 6:30pm featuring Twisted Gypsy – A tribute to Fleetwood Mac at The Collection Park.

Settebello was one of the first restaurants to open its doors to the Riverpark community in The Collection at Riverpark. From the day they opened the pizza oven has been manned by Pizzaiolo/Chef Rafael Garcia. Rafael has been part of the Settebello family since the beginning of our journey that started in Henderson, NV nearly 15 years ago. Since then Rafael oversaw the opening of our Pasadena location before relocating himself and his family to Riverpark to operate Settebello Oxnard.

The Club is getting outside during this beautiful weather and kayak at Ventura Harbor. We will meet Rebecca at Ventura Boat Rentals (near Margarita Villa) on Thursday August 15, 3:00 pm, where we will rent kayaks—single is $17 cash ($19 credit or debit) per hour, and a double is $23 cash ($26 credit or debit). Paddle boats are also available if you prefer. Those with their own kayaks can launch at the boat ramp (on Anchors Way Drive across the street from The Ventura Marina Mobile Home Park) at 2:45 pm and paddle over to meet the group. The Pier is reopened so let’s check it out by having our TGIT happy hour at Eric Ericsson’s Fish Co. (Formerly the Beach Beach House) on Thursday July 18th, 4 – 6pm. Eric Ericsson’s is on the Ventura Pier downstairs from MadeWest Brewery, 668 Harbor BLVD., Ventura, CA 93001. They will validate parking at the garage at the base of California Street, just bring your parking ticket to them for stamping.

It’s summer and what a better way to celebrate the season than a TGIT at Social Tap followed by a stroll on the beach. Rebecca is having us meet up there on June 20th, 4 – 6 pm. Social Tap is located at 1105 S Seaward Ave, Ventura CA 93001.
The owners of Social Tap have developed the concept only knowing the restaurant business from the customer side of the table. Their vision is to focus on customer service, great food using high quality ingredients, creative cocktails & an emphasis on local craft beer. Let’s go to the mall, while it is still there, to enjoy a TGIT at the California Pizza Kitchen. Thursday May 16, 4pm – 6pm. They have a great happy hour with 1/2 off drinks, 1/2 off starters and a $9 beer and pizza combo. And either before or after Happy Hour, you can do some shopping at Macy’s, Sephora or even Target!

Save Tuesday, April 16 for our next Thank God It’s TUESDAY (TGIT). We are trying Tuesday (but still keeping the TGIT moniker) for our next LPSC HAPPY HOUR at Bright Spark Brewery from 4PM -6PM . They are located at 4561 Market St, Ventura, CA 93003 , in a large complex where you can wander around and see the fermentation tanks. We are hoping to get a private room, if not we will be in the tap room. No need to RSVP just show up. There is plenty of parking.

On March 21, 4 – 6 pm, we are heading to the beach for LPSC TGIT Happy Hour at the Aqua Beachfront Bar, Crown Plaza Hotel, 450 E Harbor Blvd, Ventura, CA 93001. Valet parking for 2 hours is free.
We can’t make a reservation, but Rebecca will get there early, hopefully, to secure one of the outdoor sitting areas near the fire pit. Raining? She’ll be inside. Best view in Ventura of the ocean while sipping on a drink.
