No General Meeting, Go to Fair on Friday August 4th instead!!
In lieu of our General Meeting (NO MEETING August 3rd), we will instead be meeting at the fair to see Huey Lewis and the News on FRIDAY August 4th. Look for Jeff in front of the Ag building at 6pm and we will get in line while we sample so fine fair cuisine.
Beach Party July 22nd
The annual Beach Party is scheduled for Saturday, July 22nd starting at 10pm at our usual location at the end of Greenock Lane, Ventura. The club will provide coffee, bagels, champagne, mimosas, and a sub sandwich. Please bring a snack, fresh fruit, or dessert to share. Also, bring a chair, drinks, beach umbrella and sunscreen. We will be having a sand sculpture contest so bring your sand building tools, too, as well as ladder golf for team play. Always a fun day!

Shelf Road Hike, Ojai, March 26th
Please join us for a hike on Shelf Road, Ojai, on Sunday March 26th, 9:30am. It is a 3.5 mile moderately trafficked out back trail. We will then walk or drive to one of the local restaurants for breakfast afterwards. Directions: Take 101 to 33 north, turn left on Signal and drive up to the trail head. Park as close to the entrance as possible, but please keep in mind of the residential restrictions.

Happy Hour is from 4:00 – 6:00. We’ll have two lanes reserved from 4:30 – 5:30pm. You pay for your own shoes, which are $2, and we’ll all chip in on the cost of the lane, which is $15/hour, with no limit on the number of bowlers per lane.
Beer/wine/hard drinks – $4-5 and Appetizers – $3-5

Caroling Ventura Harbor Cruise, Thursday December 15th
Join us for a fun Caroling Cruise of the Ventura Harbor and Keys on Thursday, December 15, 6:30pm – 7:30pm. We will view the decorated homes and boats while singing our favorite Holiday carols with the crew. Each person needs to make their own reservation at http://islandpackers.com/ or by calling Island Packers at 805-642-1393.
Cost is $16, $13 (Seniors), $10(children under 12).
The boat has a snack bar selling food and refreshment.
Prior to the cruise, If you want to lubricate your vocal chords prior to the cruise, join us at about 4:30 for a Happy Hour drink at the 805 Bar and Grilled Cheese at 1575 Spinnaker, Ventura Harbor
Halloween Party – October 29, 2016 6:30PM
We are invited as guests to the Pierpont Bay Yacht Club annual Halloween Party on Saturday, October 29th, 6:30pm, at the PBYC clubhouse. There is a great buffet, music, games and a custom contest. As always, it is lots of fun!
