General Meeting, Thursday Jan 2, 2020, 7pm

As we say farewell to 2019, 2020 is around the corner starting with our LPSC General Meeting this Thursday, January 2, 7:00pm, at the Pierpont Bay Yacht Club, 1363 Spinnaker Dr. Ventura.

We will be showing some Warren Miller Ski Flick’s, including the classic Higher Ground (2006) and Journey (2003) as we enjoy snacks and chat about our new year plans and resolutions.

We will be taking sign-ups for our big Mammoth trip in March 10 – 15. Details can be found at https://lospadresskiclub.net/?page_id=156 . Bring your checkbook so you can sign up and reserve a spot. We expect a large group, and we can’t reserve great Condo’s without knowing who is committed to going on all or part of this trip. So take a moment to consult your calendar and decide to come along on this fun trip. Whether you ski or now, we always have lots of activities and the trips are always a blast!

The club Board will be developing a 2020 Event calendar and we need your input on what you want the club to do and when so we can put it on our calendar. So during the meeting, let one of our board members know what you are looking forward to doing with the club. We are always interested in fun outings (like the recent ones to the Reagan Library, Seal Walk, and train to LA) to go along with our TGIT Happy Hours (and we are always open to suggestions of fun Happy Hour locations)

Remember to bring a snack to share!

TGIT Thursday, November 14, 4 – 6 pm Cheesecake Factory

You have probably been to a Cheese Cake Factory Restaurant, but have you been to the newest one at the Collection in Oxnard? By popular request, the Los Padres Ski and Social Club is heading there for our TGIT Happy Hour this Thursday, November 14.

Lots of yummy (and even healthy) items on the menu. See attached for their HH and small bites menu.

A word of advice: Since this is a smaller venue and they do not reserve seats, if you want to sit together please try to arrive close to 4 PM. The best (and free) parking is at the back of the restaurant (take a right by Whole Foods and the CCF is by Lazy Dog which is more visible from the back).

Hope to see you there for more fun times!
